Hi, I am Ai Tommy!
I was born and raised in Japan and later studied abroad in the U.S., which gave me a mix of cute anime and expressive cartoons style.
A few years back, I started making animatic reels of my favorite characters, and it completely changed my online presence. I grew my Instagram and YouTube channels to over 100k followers, and it opened up exciting opportunities for me as an artist. More than that, I became obsessed with the process of making animatics. I love every single step, from sketching the first frame to seeing the final product come to life.
But don't get me wrong, it’s not about quick hacks to go viral easily on SNS (there are none). It’s about having fun, sharing your favorite characters, or your own original ones, in a way that truly connects with others.
Creating animatics isn’t as easy as it looks, especially if you’re aiming for more complex reels, but that’s what makes it so rewarding.
